The Dyson DC25 Multifloor Bagless Vacuum Cleaner is an upright cleaner with superb manoeuvrability due to the fact that it rides on a single centrally positioned ball rather than wheels. This means that it can swing in any direction rather than just forward and back. The motorised brush bar can be switched off if you want to use the Dyson DC25 Multifloor Bagless Vacuum Cleaner on hard floors or rugs and so you can literally use this cleaner all around the house. The long reach wand is released with just one click and can be reversed to reach difficult spots. All of the tools travel on board. The HEPA filters expel clean air and the bagless cylinder is easy to empty and experiences no loss of suction. For an upright cleaner the Dyson DC25 Multifloor Bagless Vacuum Cleaner is surprisingly light. Like all uprights, it is also easy to store, with a small footprint, and no trailing hoses or leads.
Dyson DC24 Multifloor Bagless Vacuum Cleaner Pros
The ball technology on the Dyson DC25 Multifloor Bagless Vacuum Cleaner is an excellent innovation and really good for getting round furniture. The wand is a good idea, especially having it available with just one click, rather than the usual having to fit it to the hose, and add the tools. I like the fact that you can easily turn off the beater bar of the Dyson DC25 Multifloor Bagless Vacuum Cleaner if you are going onto hard floor or rugs. I have a lot of fringes on my rugs and they were always getting caught up in my old vacuum cleaner, so this is a plus for me. The Dyson DC25 Multifloor Bagless Vacuum Cleaner is lighter than most uprights I wonder if this is due to the ball and I dont find it hard to carry upstairs. The suction is, as expected, excellent and I have really noticed a difference in the state of my carpets.
Dyson DC25 Multifloor Bagless Vacuum Cleaner Cons
The Dyson DC25 Multifloor Bagless Vacuum Cleaner has loads of good points, but some of the problems are fairly major in a cleaner of this price. The wand is a brilliant innovation, but the angle of it makes cleaning the stairs rather awkward; the nearest to the cleaner need you to be a bit of a contortionist and the further ones need the cleaner to be lifted from the bottom of the flight, which is a bit cumbersome. The tools are quite small on the Dyson DC25 Multifloor Bagless Vacuum Cleaner which means that cleaning other than with the main brushes can be rather time consuming. The filters need a lot of looking after, but thats filters for you; it wouldnt be any different with any other cleaner, so it seems unfair to moan about those. The power lead, though reasonably long, has to be unwound to use. This can be a bit of a nuisance. I appreciate that this is a safety feature (leads should never be used only partially extended this goes double for retractable leads) but it could be improved, I feel.
A Good Product?
Yes, in the main the Dyson DC25 Multifloor Bagless Vacuum Cleaner is light, easy to manoeuvre, clean in use and does an excellent clean of all sorts of floors. Even with my slight misgivings above, I think the Dyson DC24 Multifloor Bagless Vacuum Cleaner would suit most homes, as it is so easy to use and I would happily recommend it to anyone. I purchased my Dyson DC25 from Sears on sale. I saved $50 off of the normal price. The Dyson DC25 beats my old Miele hands down. Best of all is that even though I am not very mechanical inclined, I had no problems assembling the Dyson DC25 Vacuum. I can’t believe how well the vacuum picks up dog hairs in my home. I went to the Dyson website and found out that it offers a lot of great accessories. If you can afford a Dyson DC25, I recommend getting one the next time you need a new vacuum.
