Full Review of the Dyson DC33 Animal Upright Vacuum Cleaner with HEPA Filter
The Dyson DC33 Animal Bagless Vacuum Cleaner is the best Dyson upright for coping with pet hair. All of the Dyson cyclone bagless cleaners are very good at removing pet hair, but the Dyson DC33 Animal Bagless Vacuum Cleaner has a special turbo tool which, when fitted to the wand will seek out even ingrained shed hair in all the little corners as well as on upholstery, stairs, pet beds etc.
In other respects the Dyson DC33 Animal Bagless Vacuum Cleaner is a basic Dyson upright, with the usual 255 air watts motor, cyclone technology with no loss of suction, on board tool storage and beater bar which can be disabled for hard floors and rugs. The usual large dust collection container is especially useful in the home with pets; all that pet hair needs somewhere to go! Even so, the machine is easy to store, with no trailing hoses.
What I Like about the Dyson DC33 Animal Bagless Vacuum Cleaner
The Dyson DC33 Animal Bagless Vacuum Cleaner takes the usual Dyson suction to a new level by adding the turbo pet tool. As we pet owners know, the little dears have a talent for sleeping (and shedding) in the most inaccessible corners or on the fabrics and surfaces most likely to hang on to shed hair. Because the Dyson DC33 Animal Bagless Vacuum Cleaner can reach and really clean to remove every scrap of hair, and then keep it to itself because of the really efficient filters, the air is cleaner and so better for people with allergies. It is simple to use and the suction is very strong (but see below for a slight downside on that issue).
And Few Problems I Encountered with the Dyson DC33 Animal Bagless Vacuum Cleaner
The wand on the Dyson DC33 Animal Bagless Vacuum Cleaner is a bit unwieldy and I found it a bit of a nuisance on the stairs, being so stiff. I have been told it loosens up, so that may resolve itself. I find the very strong suction can be a bit of a problem with the Dyson DC33 Animal Bagless Vacuum Cleaner making it rather unstable and liable to falling over. This is quite a big machine to have falling on its side all over the place watch out all you pets sitting around shedding the Dyson DC33 Animal Bagless Vacuum Cleaner is quite heavy if it lands on you!
Overall Summary
The Dyson DC33 Animal Bagless Vacuum Cleaner is a great cleaner for general cleaning and also getting rid of stubborn pet hair. For pet owners the smell and hair are the downsides of having animals in the house and the Dyson DC33 Animal Bagless Vacuum Cleaner pretty much eliminates both of these problems very efficiently. The hose with the Dyson 33 Animal Upright Vacuum is difficult to use. On top of that the base height does not allow it to fit under my cabinets.
As a result of these two things this vacuum really isn’t convenient and I would not recommend purchasing one. This vacuum really is a waste of my hard earned cash.
